International jeweller teams up with local charity

Magnolia Jewellery Australia has created a pendant in collaboration with a Sydney-based charity for teenage girls.
A limited-edition pendant will be sold at Magnolia stores nationwide, with all proceeds raised from sales to go directly to the Nivea SISTER2sister program run by Life Changing Experiences Foundation (LCEF).

Nati Harpaz, CEO of Magnolia Jewellery Australia said the new pendant appeals to its market and believes customers will want to support such a charitable organisation.

“We are delighted to be working with an admirable charity like LCEF,” Harpaz commented in a press release. “We selected Life Changing Experiences Foundation as our chosen cause due to the incredible inspiration they offer to teenage girls in need of guidance.”

The LCEF SISTER2sister program is a 12-month mentoring program for teenage girls at risk of abuse or neglect. The program pairs a Big Sister mentor with a Little Sister, with the aim of introducing a positive role model into the teenage girls life.

Jessica Brown, CEO of LCEF is pleased that Magnolia Jewellery has agreed to assist the charity.

“Magnolia has kindly given pendants to our current Big and Little Sisters who absolutely love it and wear it with pride,” Brown said. “We are thrilled to have such a beautifully designed pendant to represent the program and raise vital funds to help young teenage girls have a brighter future.”

In line with the objective of SISTER2sister program, the sterling silver pendant, attempts to symbolise the bond between the Big and Little Sisters.

“The dolls are linked together, which represents their intertwining lives when they embark on the 12 month mentoring program together,” Harpaz said.

The pendant was created exclusively by Magnolia Jewellery Australia and is available at Magnolia stores nationwide, as well as through its website.

This is the third philanthropic venture undertaken by Magnolia, in addition to its work with World Vision Australia and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Launched in Israel in 1996, Magnolia Silver Jewellery has over 150 stores worldwide, including 27 locations in Australia. Specialists in sterling silver, Magnolia has stores across North America, Europe, the UK and Australia.
