Victoria's Secret bejewelled Fantasy Bras revealed

UPDATED: Ever wondered what a multi-million dollar bra looks like? Victoria’s Secret has announced details about this year's illustrious gem-encrusted – and impressively priced – Fantasy Bra.

Every year in December, the Victoria’s Secret Angels dress (or undress) to impress on the fashion show runway. While the event features a host of lavish lingerie-wearing models in angel wings, the centerpiece of the show arguably is the Fantasy Bra.

While Jeweller recognises that the item is not strictly jewellery, it’s interesting to note that a renowned jeweller is contracted to create the majestic bra each year and it will typically feature a combination of diamonds, sapphires, rubies and pearls.

This year, Jasmine Tookes will be the model on the catwalk sparkling in the 2016 Fantasy Bra. The extravagant item is always the final piece shown on the catwalk.

The first Fantasy Bra was created in 1996 and worn by Claudia Schiffer, however, it was not until 2001 that the item became a regular highlight of the event.

While the bras are for sale, none has ever been bought (perhaps because of their staggering prices), so they are consequently dismantled at the end of the season. Luckily, we can still see them all! Below is every Fantasy Bra to be featured on the runway, each one worn by a famous model from around the globe, including Australia’s Miranda Kerr.
