Aussie jewellers adapt to fast-paced fashion scene

Delivering the hottest jewellery trends is paramount in today’s global marketplace, and it appears the local industry is responding to the call with a new line of thought.

Suppliers of fashion jewellery were once often considered the gatekeepers of what was and wasn’t trendy. However, this isn’t necessarily the case anymore.

Jeweller’s fashion jewellery report finds many suppliers are increasing efforts to collaborate with retailers and consumers. The feature also profiles an up-and-coming trend that may help heat up jewellery stores in the cooler months ahead.

Did you think the rough diamond trade was pretty straightforward? You may want to reconsider. The May issue of Jeweller, which has now been mailed, looks at the risks and transparency concerns surrounding rough diamond trading.

This month’s issue reports on why old jewellery may be the key to breathing new life into stores and how sharing TMI – too much information – can be deadly to the customer experience.

There’s a whole lot more in Australia and New Zealand’s #1 jewellery industry magazine, including plenty of useful advice that could help to improve sales and profitability. See below for more details.
