A new sterling silver retailer has landed on Australian shores.
Originating in Israel and with stores throughout Europe, Magnolia Silver Jewellery has recently opened seven stores in Sydney and Melbourne, with more in the pipeline.
Aimed at the 16 to 65-year-old female, Magnolia jewellery purportedly offers fashionable sterling silver styles, using semi-precious stones and high-quality workmanship.
“Our jewellery is made from exceptional quality metals and semi-precious stones – yet is still affordable for individuals on a range of budgets,” said Nati Harpaz, CEO, Magnolia Silver Jewellery Australia.
Magnolia has locations in Canada, Spain, Portugal, and Hungary, among others, and boasts a team of 25 designers throughout Europe and the Middle East. The extensive design network has meant Magnolia can offer retailers an initial catalogue of some 3,000 silver jewellery designs, with another 500 new designs hitting the market each month.
Australian stores are currently located in Sydney’s Westfield Bondi, Westfield Chatswood, Westfield Burwood, Westfield Parramatta, Macarthur Square, Chatswood Chase; and Melbourne’s Highpoint shopping centre. Plans are underway to expand into Doncaster, Southland, Chadstone and Northland shopping centres in coming months and the group has flagged 14 stores throughout New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland by the end of 2009.
With an annual turnover of over $AU60 million and 750 employees worldwide, Magnolia plans to continue its worldwide expansion, anticipating a total of 300 locations and 2,000 employees worldwide by 2013.
