The watch brand's Ironman Global Trainer with GPS technology is set to launch in Australia.
The performance watch measures pace, speed and distance in real time using its Bodylink system with integrated SiRFstarIII GPS and wireless technology. It is designed to help athletes measure, review and advance their performance.
It features customisable displays that can show up to four windows of information, while online training log software can analyse uploaded data.
The Ironman Global Trainer also features a water-resistant case and rechargeable battery.
Australian triple world champion triathlete and 2008 Olympic gold medalist Emma Snowsill, who is sponsored by Timex, wears the watch.
The watch, which has had phenomenal international sales, is being distributed in Australia by Designa.
An Australian family company, Designa also distributes Gc, Guess, Maxum, Nautica and Ecko.
