Girard-Perregaux’s historical 1966 collection now has a new member: the Perpetual Calendar.
The watch has a 40mm case diameter, 288 separate components and a transparent, sapphire case-back. The watch comes with either a rose gold or white gold case. The strap is made out of alligator leather and the buckle is crafted from 18-carat gold. Gold features again in the adjustable screws.
It has a self-winding mechanical movement detailing hours and minutes, a perpetual calendar and a moon phase indicator. To improve readability, the date, day and month are indicated by small blue, steel hands while the moon phases are displayed in a window at six o’clock.
