A garnet ring
Blue Turtles
Posted November 18, 2010 |
Blue Turtles’ artisans handcrafted this garnet ring from sterling silver.
The piece is known as the ‘Gigi’ ring. Streamlined and elegant, ‘Gigi’ always features a sparkling and light-filled gemstone which is claw-set on a delicately tapered shank.
Retailers can choose from an assorted array of 9x11mm oval stones such as blue topaz, amethyst, citrine and smoky quartz or the 7x9mm variety of garnet and peridot.
The rings are available to retailers now.
Blue Turtles is a Melbourne-based silver jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler. Husband and wife duo Doron and Sandy Berger own the business. Doron personally sources a stone and designs each stone-set piece before handing it over to Balinese and Javanese craftsmen who make the piece using traditional silverwork techniques.
