This ‘Friendship Bangle’ from Uberkate was designed to allow wearers to carry memories of loved ones with them at all times.
The individualised bangles are sized to customers’ specifications and personalised to order. Customers have the choice of small, medium or large font types for each piece.
Large fonts are typically chosen to ensure the names stand out and can be used to create a bold, statement piece, while small fonts are often used with dates to produce an effect that likens the numbers to a code.
The bangles are available in sterling silver or 9-carat yellow, rose and white gold. Shapes differ too, with the option of a circular or oval bangle with matching spinning discs provided.
Matching earrings, rings and pendants are also available. No two pieces are alike as they are all handcrafted and each piece is embossed by hand.
Uberkate is the brainchild of Kate Sutton, a former TV producer, now silversmith, who creates distinctive, personalised designs. It will be showcasing its selection of product from stand F14 at the Brisbane fair.
