The video features archival footage from Elizabeth Taylor’s films and public appearances, including scenes with her husband Richard Burton.
Among the pieces included are highlights of the 33.19-carat Taylor-Burton diamond ring, a 1968 gift from Burton, and the Mike Todd Diamond Tiara, crafted in 1880 with old mine-cut diamonds.
The diamond ring, formerly known as the Krupp Diamond, sold at Christie’s for approximately $USD8.8 million ($AUD12.4 million). The tiara sold for over $USD4.2 million ($AUD6 million) at a 2011 auction, with proceeds benefiting The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
