Drawing upon the energy of the Air Boss who oversees all launch, landing and aircraft movements, this Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece is all about precision in timekeeping.
Aptly named the AirBoss Mach 8 Special Edition, its distinct feature is its visual countdown function. The countdown function is based on a bi-directional rotating inner bezel (0 to 60 minutes) surrounding the dial and was inspired by the countdown for aircraft takeoff and landing.
The simple, easy-to-use minute countdown timer is set by a specific crown on the right side of the case.
The Air Boss has accented chrono sub-dials, a date calendar and genuine leather straps.
The timepiece is equipped with a Swiss mechanical self-winding movement that includes a 180-degree clockwise rotation of the movement that brings the start/stop chronograph pusher to 8 o'clock for optimal thumb operation. An exhibition case-back allows wearers to view the mechanism.
The 45mm stainless steel case has triple coated, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screw-in mineral crystal and luminous hands, numerals, hour markets as well as logo.
The timepiece is water resistant up to 100 metres and comes with a three-year warranty, a special display case and a compass.
