Designed for divers, Girard-Perregaux’s Sea Hawk Pro 1,000M model is new to its Sea Hawk range.
The Sea Hawk Pro features state of the art technology to help guarantee underwater performance, with water resistant up to 1,000 metres to comply with the ISO 6425 diving watch standard.
Designed for underwater use, the timepiece has a power reserve indicator that ensures optimal readability of the dial even in murky water conditions. The power reserve operates on a minimum of 46 hours.
The steel watch is equipped with a screwed crown, a uni-directional rotating steel bezel that allows diving times to be monitored and a helium valve that enables wearers to decompress the watch after deep dives.
In terms of aesthetics, the timepiece has sleek, straight lines and an ornate dial.
With striking orange luminescent minute hands across its matt black dial, the watch has a generous-sized case, a crown at four o’clock protected by an ergonomic crown shield and a screwed case-back.
The screwed case-back is adorned with an engraving of a porpoise, anchor and trident – a reference to a Girard-Perregaux patent that dates back to the end of the 19th century.
Its case was crafted from sapphire crystal and the timepiece has 27 jewels in its movement.
The watch is available with a rubber strap with a folding safety clasp tailored to divers. The strap’s extension system allows it to be easily adjusted in order to compensate for differences in temperature or to enable the watch to be worn over a drysuit.
The GP033R0 movement with automatic winding has been entirely developed and produced by the manufacturer.
