Actress Halle Berry is set to star in a biographical film about Doris Payne, an 83-year-old jewellery thief who has recently been arrested for another heist. Marchesa, the luxury brand specialising in bespoke bridal gowns, launches a collection of fine jewellery to target the engagement ring market. Italian jewellery house Bulgari introduces 200 one-of-a-kind pieces into the Australian market, which it touts as being an "extraordinary success story".
