Alessandra Ambrosio joins BaubleBar for Coachella-inspired jewellery range, Jewellery designer thrives from Beyoncé endorsement, Chanel launches first online jewellery collection

Considered to be a regular fixture at the Coachella music festival, Alessandra Ambrosio has combined her love for the event with her business acumen to create a jewellery collection. The Victoria’s Secret model – and self-described “big jewellery lover” – teamed up with online jewellery retailer BaubleBar for the bohemian-style range.

Columbian jewellery designer Paula Mendoza may have already been well known for her signature yellow gold and geometric designs, but it’s thanks to Beyoncé’s XO film clip that popularity for the bold pieces skyrocketed overnight.

Speaking of gold, Chanel has released an 18-carat yellow gold collection that will be sold exclusively through online retail store Net-a-Porter. The move marks the luxury French fashion house’s first foray into e-commerce (that is, aside from beauty products).
