The new 18WPP is said to be the ‘whitest’ 18-carat white gold alloy developed in Australia.
According to the supplier, 18WPP has high hardiness, is better wearing and has a high level of grain refiners giving a compact surface that allows for a bright, clean polish.
The alloy also has a yellowness index scale of 12.2; by comparison, platinum has a yellowness index scale of 10 and most white gold alloys range between 16 and 24.
