Last one standing: Jewellery Industry Network linked to three collapsed companies

Three companies associated with one of the founding directors of the Jewellery Industry Network have collapsed; bringing attention to an intriguing array, and complex web of businesses that sit behind Laura Moore's Jewellery Industry Network, Jewellery Industry far and Jewellery World.

Laura Moore formed the Jewellery Industry Network in 2020 claiming there was a need to "knit the delicate fabric of the industry towards a strong, ethical future". Over the past two years, three other founding directors have quit the company.

Andy Phanthapangna's charity, Grow Fit Fund, has not complied with the ACNC's financial reporting requirements and has been placed under external Administration. Banquet Creative listed on the charity's website has been liquidated.

Brett Low and Ewen Ryley have been removed from the Jewellery Industry Network's website as well as the logo of their Jewellers Co. group.

Jewellers Co. has previously been a prominent backer of, and exhibitor at, the Jewellery Industry Fair; however, it was not listed at last month's event and its logo has been removed from the Jewellery Industry Network website.

Jeremy Keight sold Jewellery World to Laura Moore three years ago, and while he is listed as the magazine's advertising rep, Keight still promotes himself on Linkedin as the managing director. His profile also makes no mention of Jewellers Trade, a magazine he closed in 2015.
