In April the JAA announced a constitutional amendment: “Under the revised Constitution, the roles of President and Vice President will be limited to a maximum of four years in each position.” Interestingly, the board omitted to mention that the change does not affect Joshua Sharp and/or Ronnie Bauer

SHARP: Excluded from the recent JAA constitutional amendment limiting tenure.

BAUER: Excluded from constitutional amendment and has faced governance controversies while a JAA board member.

HAKMAN: “Brings a depth of governance and strategic experience that will significantly strengthen the Board”.

KOTZMAN: “Brings deep expertise in governance, regulatory matters and strategic risk, which will be a valuable addition to the Board”

DOIG: It was later discovered that she was a friend and the company secretary of one of Bauer’s businesses, raising questions about the validity of her supposed independence.
