PH Luxury Consignment, founded in 2018 by Paris Krimotat and located on Transvaal Avenue, was targeted on Thursday.
Two offenders allegedly reversed a Volkswagen into the store several times before entering and ransacking the premises. The vehicle was left heavily damaged at the scene.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewellery, handbags, and shoes were stolen. The store is assessing losses and is expected to remain closed during repairs.
Detective Inspector Adam Solah of Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command told the Sydney Morning Herald that the owners are compiling a list of stolen items following extensive damage to the store.
“They’re trying to put together the inventory of what’s been stolen, and it’s a challenge for businesses when they have these things happen to them because now they have to recover,” he said.
“The owner of that store in particular is very upset by what has occurred.”
A black Audi, stolen from Bondi 24 hours earlier, was used as the getaway vehicle. Police are still searching for the vehicle, and the offenders remain at large.
