Among a roster of other key events on the jewellery industry’s annual international calendar, Informa Markets is the organiser of Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (June) and Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (September).
Effective immediately, these shows will be known as JGW June and JGW September. Director of jewellery fairs, Celine Lau, said this rebrand would offer improved coherence, consistency and confidence among buyers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders worldwide.
“This rebrand goes beyond a visual refresh. For years, the industry has been working with two separate identities for what are really two parts of the same story," Lau said.
"Now, by bringing both fairs under the JGW name, we are making it easier for buyers and exhibitors to see how everything fits together. It means simpler planning, stronger brand presence and a better overall experience − whether they are joining us in June, September or both."
The new branding will be featured across all touchpoints, including websites, booking platforms, social media, marketing collateral and on-site signage, starting with JGW September.
Informa Events has been hosting jewellery trade shows in Hong Kong for more than 40 years and recently concluded its annual June show. At that event, a new global industry trade show, known as the Basilia Jewellery & Watch Fair, was announced and is set to debut next year in Switzerland.
The fair will be held in Basel (Switzerland) and is expected to have more than 400 exhibitors. The trade show is being organised as a collaboration between Informa Markets and MCH Group.
