Sydney Fair: Think outside-the-box at The Village

At the upcoming International Jewellery Fair in Sydney, a new approach to emerging technology and innovation will be introduced with the launch of ‘The Village’.

Three exhibitors will be located at Stand 44, offering a range of technologies designed to enhance jewellery businesses.

Retail Edge Consultants provides a jewellery-specific point-of-sale and business management system, specialising in inventory control and data analysis. Business development manager Kim Ridley said it was an exciting opportunity to streamline this specific offering at the Sydney Fair.

“You’ll find all the smart tech and services your jewellery business needs — from easy-to-use POS systems and payment solutions to tools that help you connect with customers and understand your sales data,” Ridley told Jeweller.

“It’s not just about gadgets; it’s about showing you how everything works together to make your day-to-day easier and your business more profitable. Plus, you can chat directly with experts who really get the jewellery industry.”

Zeller offers integrated payment and business banking solutions, making payments simple while providing visibility and control over cash flow.

Podium centralises all business communications, from SMS to webchat and reviews, into a single inbox, simplifying customer service management.

These three exhibitors are presenting a ‘united front’, designed to reflect the showcase of technological innovations and digital tools seen at large jewellery fairs around the world.

“You’ll walk away with practical ideas and real solutions tailored to your business,” Ridley added.

“Instead of feeling overwhelmed by tech, you’ll see how it can simplify your operations, boost sales, and improve customer engagement. It’s a chance to find everything you need in one spot — saving you time and helping you grow smarter.”

The International Jewellery Fair will take place at Sydney’s International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour, beginning on 23 August.
