The Council of Small Business of Australia is calling out for small businesses to complete a five-minute survey

SMEs invited to help shape government policy

Australia’s peak body for small businesses ‘The Council of Small Business of Australia’ (COSBOA) is urging retailers to complete a brief survey on what their main challenges are as part of a national initiative to improve business practices within the sector.
The survey should take just 10 minutes to complete and respondents will remain anonymous.

As part of the annual NAB National Small Business Summit, the peak body will relay feedback from the survey to the Government, opposition and industry leaders during the summit’s debut ‘Fix It Forum’.

The forum will be a feedback session where specific issues of small business management will be raised with the Government and industry leaders who will work with COSBOA to devise solutions for problems that affect small businesses.

COSBOA organises the annual summit in collaboration with NAB to establish directions and develop solutions for the biggest challenges that small business owners face in growing their businesses.

The NAB National Small Business Summit will take place from July 26 to 27, 2011, at the Sydney Showgrounds. For more information on how to register for the summit, visit its official website.
