As reported by Ragtrader, Accent Group’s Armando Pedruco has been appointed CEO of the fashion jewellery chain. Harli + Harpa was launched by former Lovisa CEO Shane Fallscheer late last year, and according to its website, has more than 30 stores in Australia and New Zealand.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with Shane again and help him build on what is already a fantastic business,” Pedruco said.
“After spending several weekends in stores over the last eight weeks, I can see that the customers are loving the product, the team, and the store design.
“Shane is an experienced retailer and understands this category very well, so I’m confident that together we can build a very successful business.”
Pedruco worked for Accent Group for eight years, serving as executive general manager of Platypus Shoes, Hype DC, and Subtype. Before that position, he was global general manager of sales for Lovisa.
This appointment follows a ‘falling out’ with inaugural CEO Cass Fuller. As reported, Fuller has taken the emerging jewellery chain to court amid allegations of lost wages and superannuation after being dismissed in December.
