The 2026 Brownlow Medal was hosted at Crown Casino on Monday 21 September, and Collingwood’s Nick Daicos won with a record-breaking 47 votes, ahead of Bailey Smith (Geelong) and Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs).
Seated at the same table as the eventual winner was Annalise Dalins, partner of Josh Daicos – wearing a jewellery collection valued at more than $1 million. More than 40 carats of diamonds were featured across custom and ready-to-wear earrings, rings, bracelets, and a diamond-set white gold ear cuff.
Melbourne’s Temelli Jewellery supplied the collection and has previously designed two bespoke pieces for Dalins. A report from ELLE Australia spoke with James Temelli about the process.
“Since we have dressed her in jewels for every Brownlow she’s attended, we collaboratively selected pieces for her and used our understanding of her style to create some bespoke pieces,” he explained.
On Saturday 26 September, all eyes turned to the MCG for a grand final showdown between the Brisbane Lions and Fremantle Dockers. Brisbane emerged victorious by seven points, claiming a third straight premiership.
This year’s half-time entertainment was spearheaded by Australian icon Kylie Minogue – who performed several classic pop songs while wearing just shy of $400,000 in diamond jewellery.
Tiffany & Co. provided the collection, highlighted by more than 28 carats of diamonds, featuring pieces from the brand's HardWear and Victoria collections.
